Partnerships


The Light of Truth Center has formed partnerships with the following:

One God One Thought Center for Better Living, Inc. (OGOT), is a New Thought Christian Church that has embraced The Light of Truth Center as a partner. The mission of OGOT is to be a powerful catalyst for change that teaches and promotes the daily practice of spiritual principles which inspire and empower people to live a better life. They have embraced the women at the Center and with support of their congregants provide clothing, food, and personal hygiene items.

Johns Hopkins SOURCE – The SOURCE (Student Outreach Resource Center) provides academic, professional and personal development opportunities for the members of the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine, Nursing and the Bloomberg School of Public Health through community outreach and service-learning partnerships with community-based organizations. They also serve as a channel for student, faculty and staff involvement with community organizations and local projects. In September 2013, The Johns Hopkins University SOURCE selected the Light of Truth Center to be the featured CBO Partner of the Month. SOURCE has a particular, but not exclusive, focus on East Baltimore neighborhoods in close proximity to the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.

Maryland Association for Supportive Housing (MASH): Provides networking, training and capacity building services to The Light of Truth Center

Maryland Recovery Organization Connecting Communities (M-ROCC) To advocate, educate, celebrate and support all who seek to access, initiate, achieve and sustain recovery/health and wellness, and an improved life in the community.

Ginny Robertson, LLC – The mission of Ginny Roberston, LLC is to connect women around the world to their gifts, their purpose and each other. This is in sync with the mission of LTC to give women a safe place from which they can discover and explore their gifts, experiment with self and ideas, create community, help others and achieve a self-defined success. Women are invited and encouraged to show up real and stand in their power.

The Light of Truth Center, Inc., equally dedicated to serving people in their process of recovery is MPAC’s sponsoring organization. The Maryland Peer Advisory Council (MPAC) is a peer-led innovative concept that has been developed to advocate, educate and support individuals, families and communities about recovery within Baltimore City, and the State of Maryland.

Light of Truth Center dba 3C Recovery Support Training Institute (aka 3C Training) provides training classes to the recovery community.

Under the leadership of Mr. Tyrell Moyd, 3C Training is a academy that specializes in recovery support training for individuals who have a desire to provide recovery support services within the community. Trainings are geared toward recovery coaching skills that aid in the support of person-centered services for individuals seeking recovery. 3C Training is an approved training provider of the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-health Professionals Certification Board.
